Adoption Tracker

Prove whether your Salesforce rollout was adopted

Group the objects and flows that make up a feature you shipped, then watch real usage: records created and updated, flow runs, logins, and a per-user leaderboard — trended over any window up to a year.

What you can do

  • Define a “feature” as the objects it created and the flows it introduced
  • Records created and records updated, trended per object
  • Flow run counts for screen flows, with adoption of autolaunched flows inferred from the records they write
  • Login activity over the window, within Salesforce’s retention limits
  • A per-user leaderboard: who is actually using it
  • Windows of 30, 90, 180, or 365 days, bucketed by day, week, or month
  • Optional SOQL filters per object, so you measure the right slice of records
  • Every series is independently fallible — one bad object never sinks the whole report

How it works

1

Describe the feature

Name it, then attach the objects it created and the flows it introduced. Add a filter if only some records count.

2

Pick a window

30 days to a year, bucketed however the story reads best. Every number is queried live.

3

Read the trend

Creation and update trends, flow runs, logins, and who is driving the usage.

Why it's different

Adoption of a feature, not of Salesforce

Standard reports tell you about objects. Adoption Tracker lets you name the thing you actually shipped — this object, that flow, these filters — and measures it as one feature over time. It pairs with the Tech Debt Finder for the uncomfortable follow-up question: if nobody is using it, should it still exist?

Try asking

  • Show that the custom object you built three months ago has twelve records and two users
  • Prove a rollout worked before the next budget conversation
  • Find the team that never adopted the new process
  • Decide whether something is safe to retire
  • Track usage climbing after training
