Is orgadmin.ai in beta?

Yes — orgadmin.ai is in open beta. Every feature is free while the beta runs: sign up, connect an org, and use the whole platform without a credit card. In exchange, expect rough edges — features may fail, time out, or return unexpected results, and your feedback (there’s a feedback button in the app) directly shapes what gets fixed.

What does “bring your own AI key” mean?

During the beta, AI features run on an API key you supply — from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, OpenRouter, Ollama Cloud, Cerebras, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. You add it once in Settings; it is encrypted at rest and used only for your own requests. You pay your AI provider directly for what you use, and orgadmin.ai itself costs nothing.

What are the risks of using my own AI key in a beta?

Be aware before you start: if an AI request fails midway, times out, or produces a result you can’t use, the tokens it consumed are still billed by your provider — they can’t be refunded. We strongly recommend creating a dedicated API key with a monthly spending limit set at your provider, and keeping an eye on your provider’s usage console.

What happens when the beta ends?

The paid plans on the pricing page take effect: a Free explorer tier and a Pro tier with AI included (platform-managed keys). A competitive price is still being worked out — we are aiming to be over 50% cheaper than any other competitor. Beta users will be given clear notice before anything changes, and nothing is charged automatically — you choose whether to upgrade.

Do I need to install anything in my Salesforce org?

No packages and no code. You create a Connected App in Setup (a five-minute, clicks-only task), paste its Consumer Key and Secret into orgadmin.ai, and authorise with OAuth. Your Salesforce password is never entered into orgadmin.ai.

Which Salesforce editions are supported?

Accepted Answer

Any edition with API access — Enterprise, Unlimited, Performance, and Developer Editions, plus all sandbox types. Production and sandbox orgs can be connected side by side.

Can I connect more than one org?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A workspace can hold as many org connections as you like — production, sandboxes, and client orgs — each isolated with its own metadata, context, and AI learnings.

How does the team model work?

Accepted Answer

Workspaces have owner, admin, member, and read-only roles. Org context and AI-learned knowledge are shared across the workspace; favourites and saved queries stay personal.

What does it cost during the open beta?

Nothing. Every feature is free while the beta runs — you only pay your own AI provider for the tokens your AI usage consumes (bring your own key). The prices below describe the plans that take effect at launch.

The full Metadata Explorer: objects and fields, Apex and LWC source, flows, permissions, 50+ metadata types, global search, relationship maps, favourites, deployments comparison, data seeding, data tables, and teams. AI features are not included on Free.

What is an AI token?

Accepted Answer

Tokens measure how much text the AI reads and writes. Pro includes 1,000,000 tokens per user per month — roughly hundreds of substantial questions — and usage is visible on your usage page at all times.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. Sign up, connect an org, and use the platform — free during the beta, and the Free plan stays free after launch.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes — subscriptions are month to month. Disconnecting an org also revokes its token at Salesforce and purges the stored metadata.

Can orgadmin.ai change my Salesforce org?

Accepted Answer

Browsing, chat, search, and analytics use a client that is read-only by design — create, update, delete, and deploy methods do not exist in it, and destructive HTTP verbs are blocked at the transport layer. Write features (Studio deploys, data seeding, table editing) exist only when your deployment explicitly enables them, and they are sandbox-first: production deploy targets only ever run check-only validation.

How are my Salesforce credentials stored?

OAuth refresh tokens and Connected App secrets are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, never logged, and never sent to the browser. Every Salesforce API call is audit-logged — without tokens.

Is my org data used to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. Prompts are sent to the AI provider you (during the beta) or your workspace admin chooses, under that provider’s API terms, and orgadmin.ai never trains models on your data.

What happens when I disconnect an org?

orgadmin.ai revokes the token at Salesforce, deletes the stored secrets, and purges all cached metadata for that connection.

No. orgadmin.ai is an independent product, built in Australia, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Salesforce, Inc.
